Ezekiel 20:1-24:27

Ezekiel, go tell my people when you were just small.
I brought you from Egypt. Broke down every wall.

To a land that was flowing with honey and milk.
Gave you great riches. Clothed you with silk.

Said, don't worship idols, like the nations around.
Gave you statutes, and Sabbaths. My word was profound.

But what did you do? You polluted my land,
dishonored my Sabbaths. I withdrew my hand.

I sought for a man, that should make up the hedge,
to stand in the gap. Protect from the edge.

To save my people. Can I find just one?
I looked for a man, but instead I found none.

God punished Israel for rejecting Him.
But the nations around. What about them?

Will they get away with the sin of rejection?
While they worship their idols, will they have God's protection?
